The Art Studio also provides a venue displaying the work of artists of all levels and backgrounds from the Detroit metropolitan area that would otherwise not have that opportunity for growth, visibility and support. Classes are geared to all ages and accomplishments with emphasis on those who cannot necessarily afford art lessons.
Radio Show radio
The Jewish Hour is Detroit's only Jewish Radio program. It features topical guests to help promote awareness, understanding and experiences of Jewish culture, history and arts. The show provides a medium for all types of Jewish music and insights into Jewish philosophy and ritual.
Always party time on Lag B'Omer. Of course there will be great food (beer on us). But Wait! We'll be having a Jewish Poetry reading, drone show (you get to play with the drones) the Jewish Ferndale Library will be open and Jewish Jazz by the Saul Anthony Quartet.
